Garry Dart (they/She/He) is a queer, genderfluid, Newfoundlander who strives for systemic change, through advocacy, activism, and use of de-colonial and anti-racist practices. They have worked and volunteered for many 2SLGBTQIA+ organizations in St. John’s, Halifax and Ottawa, on community, provincial and national levels including with prideHealth, ACNS, MAX Ottawa, and PFLAG Canada for many years.
They have an honours BSc in Ecology and Conservation Biology, an honours BA in Psychology, a graduate certificate in advanced training in affirmative therapy for trans communities, as well as a Master of Education in Counselling Psychology.

DartHealth Bursary Program
Hello my fellow queer folk!
This bursary will be awarded to any grade 12 student planning to go to post-secondary in a health-related field that identify as part of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and is from the Dartmouth area or the Eastern Shore. Our first scholarship will hopefully be awarded in 2025. This is a partnership with the Dartmouth General Hospital Foundation.
